Accepting one time compensation from recruiting company without TN

Hi friends,

I am in a bit of weird situation and wanted reach to see y’all thoughts.

I landed to a full time job through recruiting company (Company A). I successfully got my TN processed for the company I will be working for (Company B). Recruiting company offered me one time sign on bonus of 10k after 90 days of my employment. My question is can I accept that sign bonus from the company when I do not have TN for recruiting company? At the end of the day recruiting company will be reporting that income to IRS.
 
Since you are not "working" for the recruiting company, there is no unauthorized employment, and you are not violating any rules of TN status.
