Academic equivalency for green card

Hi there,

I am a software developer.

My education is US equivalent of
BBA (Major: Computer Information Systems)
MBA (General)

Can I go for EB2 even if my masters degree is general? (Considering I am a software developer)

Your training qualifies you for a job. The job sets the processing category. If the job does not qualify for EB2 there is nothing in your education that will modify the processing classification. Many people are overqualified for their jobs.

The attorneys for the employers are well aware of the requirements and will file in the most advantageous manner for their clients.
