I'm considering a move from academia to industry with a different job title, job description and increased salary. I filed my I-140 (RD: Oct 2003) and I-485 (RD: Dec 2003) concurrently at VSC, with the I-140 being in the Oustanding Professor/Researcher category (no LC required). I'm currently on an EAD. Is this job move possible at all? From what I hear of the new rules, it seems that my I-140 approval will be greatly delayed because of concurrent filing, and until then I can't use AC-21.
Any help or experiences are much appreciated.
