Ac21!

Could Ginnu/someone please help me with following questions:

1) I am changing my job and i want to file AC21 on my own and take the case away from my current company lawyer (who is useless and charges huge money for that). At this time I do not want to hire another lawyer. How do I inform BCIS about this.

2) Do I need to file AC21 papers for my wife also, whose I-485 petition is based on mine and was filed along with my I-485? I am kind of confused what do I need to do to keep her I-485 application active.

1. Filing AC21 is optional- you can file it upfront or file it after RFE(if any).
2. You can file it yourself- don't really need an attorney. Check this site for formats etc. A cover letter + Company EVL.
3. Derivate applicant has to do nothing.
