I would like to start this thread for people who have used / plan to use AC21. I am collecting info to see what % of people have informed BCIS abt AC21 and how they have done it ...themselves or thru their lawyer ...This will help people who plan to go this route .They can also decide what is the best way to go abt this.

Changed Jobs -- April 2005

Changing Jobs in April 2005.
Not 100% decided yet on what to do regarding informing BCIS.
 
I am in too... My details in signature. I am planning to change job in april 2005. My new employer's lawyer is going to send H1 petition next week. I am not yet sure what they plan to do whether use AC21 or not..

Change job with I485 pending >15 months
change address
got RFE on I485 3 months later,
replied 1.5 months later
approved 2 weeks later

So you informed them of AC21 only after you got an EVL right.
What documents did you send them to inform them of your job change thru AC21 at the time of your reply to the RFE?
Was a letter sufficient?
Or did you have to send in extra information too about Ac21?
Please let us know asap.

You said you did not inform USCIS about your changing employer and replied with EVL after you got RFE. But how did USCIS come to know that you changed employer? Please share your experience as it would help lot of people like me who are sitting tight on the border.

Thanks for starting this thread...
I recently switched job and am looking out for lawyer to discuss/file AC21.
I think even if i don't file AC21..... but because i will file AR-11 (change of address) which also asks about employer info.. and also call up INS to change address on all pending applications, this would trigger an RFE for EVL.
How much time do we get to respond to such RFE..??
