Guys,

I would appreciate input (personal experience) on this. I have an approved I-140 (over 10 months) and my I-485 is pending for over a year. I received a job offer from a relatively big company ($300 million revenue). Job description similar and salary is slightly more.

How do you approach the new company with respect to telling them about AC21 ? Are the HR personel well informed about this and how do they react ?

In the application all they asked was could you provide proof of employment and I have a valid EAD.

Do you tell them beforehand itself or is this something you discuss after you join ?

1. EAD is all that you need to join.
2. Normally the HR guys are well informed. But it is best to talk it over. Their involvement is minimal, in some situations none- but best to talk and make sure. No sponsorship is required- only a letter of sorts.
