AC21 - same or similar occupation

LC and I-140 approved. I-485 has been pending over 180 days. I would like to switch my line of business, but i am not sure if new position will fall in to the category under which my LC was approved. i am currently a tax accountant and would like to switch to financial analyst.
could anyone please help with determing whether AC21 will apply if i change my position?

AC21 relates not to the job title

It includes several things including but not limited to functions, duties, wages, goals etc etc.
It is very broad but if as a financial analyst, if you still evaluate taxation and advice regarding taxes, one should be fine.
This is because many companies have their own unique titles. if one were to stick with the title and thereby the same company, would AC21 have any purpose.

The two jobs appear to be clearly different. You might definitely face problems. Don't take risk. If you desperately want to take up thi job, explain the limitation of A21 law to your new employer and ask him to give a letter stating that you are being hired as an Accountant (instead of Financial Analyst). The other option is consult a Lawyer.
