I am thinking of using AC21 since the wait for 485 is never-ending.. My question is that if i use AC21 and move to a new emp ( my lawyer wants to send a letter to USCIS informing them about this move). then if I happen to lose my job again let's say in Dec, Can i use AC21 once again to move to yet another employer.. Assuming of course that the job title, job description, duties, remuneration etc remains same or similar... are there any specs on how many times you are allowed to switch employers using AC21.. anybody has any experience or thoughts on this.. Also does informing USCIS mean a definite transfer to local office, Since I am in NY, that is not a very welcome thought, the scheduling itself will probably add another 8 months to this long wait..Please advise

You can use AC-21 as many times as you wish.
There are pros and cons about informing or not US CIS. Especially if the employer cancels or tries to do so, your I-140, or tries to re-use the LC for somebody else (cases of fraud). The burden is on you all the time!
Transfers: Probably yes, if they know you used AC-21 in advance. This is in the adjudicator's discretion. The last memo about applicability of transfers was in 1998, I believe...you can find it yourself.
Read the latest memos also about AC-21 and some more literature and decide yourself.

Thank you, Cinta

I will review these links and get some more information, Thanks for taking the time to consolidate this info. Does the fact that my I140 was approved back in Sept or OCt 2002 matter. My RD is Sept 04,02. RD Sept 17,02. FP results recd Oct 18, 02. SO far i've stuck with the same employer hoping for the best and trying to not complicate things.
