AC21 Question for the gurus

I have an AC21 question. I want your advise on a small dilema i have. I am currently on an EAD with my 485 (submitted in january) sponsored by a consulting firm.Unfortunately my contract expired with one of their clients in February and since then the company has not been able to get another contract for me.
Currently however i got a job offer with another company that i m currently working for now. The consulting firm has put me on a Leave of absence without pay since March and they do not know i have another job (in a similar category). I need the gurus advise. Should I notify the consulting firm, terminate my employment completely with them and use AC21 or just tag along and use the AC21 only if required? What has also made it a little more complex is that i have moved (although within the same state and I need to submit AR11 on which i have to put my employer name . I m not sure which employer name to put. I currently don't have a personal lawyer and the consulting company lawyer takes care of immigration stuffs. I have read threads in this forum of some employers that notified INS to cancel i485 application on a client exit from company. Any one with similar experiences pls share what you did.

Thank you.

Completed 6 months?

Is the 6 month period over from the date of 485?
Is the new job title and description same as the old one?

You need to satisfy these two conditions I guess.

In addition it recommended to make arrangement with the old company to respond in case of an RFE.

Notify change of address AR-11

Notify dept change of job.

Its better to deal straight forward.

Some lucky case get approved without these notification, but it doesn't fav. all the time.

I think these guys have answered all your questions. I hope everything will turn out okay in the end. Just pray for it. Good luck.

My case is similar to your case except that my project is going to end by end of Sept with my new employer. I've sent form AR-11 to Washington DC address. Now my question is :

Should I hire new attorney to file change of address at service center and mention new employer name and also new G-28 form.

Each Attorney has their own views in this

Hello all AC21;
I am in the same boat. Not exactly, but kind of.
I was working for Company A who filed chapter 11, and after that, it has been acquired by a new company B, and recently company A has filed Chapter 7 and shutdown.
Company B has a Public Access file in place, which states that all the Immigration liabilities are owned by company B as a part of the acquisition. ( as the deal was "in successor of interest" )

My Lawyer asked me not to notify INS until they issue an RFE as he explained me, i can use AC21 or the current Public Access record regarding the acquisition.

In both the cases, i will just wait till i get an RFE. Thats what even Sheela Muthy suggested. But USVISANEWS.com suggested to inform INS prior to RFE. It all depends on the Attorney.
