Guys,
I have gone thru the Forum and the link below and still not clear on AC21.
http://uscis.gov/graphics/lawsregs/handbook/I140_AC21_8403.pdf
Can you please suggest :

1.I work for Company A on H1 and have valid visa till Nov 2005.
2.Company B ,I have used substituted labor of B and filed my GC
last July 2004 .
3.Can I jump to Company C on EAD of Company B and should I inform the
USCIS about the change of job?....
I do not want to work for Company B and we have a very good understanding , Company B won't revoke any of
I-140 and I485 and would support my GC.No hastles at all with Comp B.

I want to take up Perm job with Company C and leave A and B.

Please throw some light.

Thanks,
Caldude

Caldude...if your I140 is not approved yet then joining company C on EAD is not a good idea...I think you should wait until your I140 is approved...just to be on the safer side...

if God forbid...something goes wrong with your I140, you'll be out of status right away...so be careful using your EAD....

Same situation as yours

Hi Caldude368

I am exactly (100%) in same situation, one of the Gurus replied same to me in this forum as mentioned by gctarget06.

Keep me posted whatever you hear.

regards

Guys,

If I-140 gets approved, then I may switch to Comp C huh ?Correct me...
What if I-485 has Denial then still is it out of status ??? or only happens
with I140 denial(out of status).
I am curious to know

Thanks for reading the post!

If your I485 is denied then you are out of status too...as the old saying goes..."that would be last nail in the coffin" if its denied for any reason...your 485 application is the adjustment of status in US and if there is something goes wrong with it then other applications are automatically null and void...not to mention that you'll have an option to appeal...
