One of my friend wants to use AC21. Say for example if at the time of labor you were working as an UNIX administrator, and if you are now working in Java, would that cause a problem using AC21?

One cannot keep working on the same skill set when the labor was applied with this economic situations? Correct me if I am wrong.

As long as he works in Computer Industry would that help?

Wonder where do you get such ideas from? :D Let us see what is an equivalent job. The job definitions are based on a standard table called DOT Code. These are numbers of form XXX.YYY-ZZZ. If all 9 digits match then it an excellent match for AC-21. Anything less then 6 digits may be a problem.

People are not forced to work on same technology forever, but they have limited options. You can take up only equivalent jobs.

If your friend works in Computer Industry as a salesman when his LC was for Software Engg. - it will be tougher to get thru than working as a Software Engg in garment industry for example.

Hope this helps.
