hi everyone,
this is my first post on immigrationportal.com
my situation is very different from most of you guys i think.
well, i am working in cleveland ohio and half way into the labor certification my husband just got a job in sacramento, calif. he had just got out of school then and as the job market was really bad then he just took this job. So for the last 1.5 yrs i have been commuting back n forth to sacramento from cleveland.
Well, so here's the thing my i-140 and i-485 have applied concurrently.
RD- 12 march 2004 (I-140)
RD- 28 march 2004 (I-485).
FP- 12 July 2004.
Service center- NSC
So i guess my question is, does anyone know if My I-140 gets approved ( i have no high hopes that it is goin to get approved this year) but maybe sometime next year hopefully i can change jobs anywhere in the u.s or does it have to be the same DOL region. Also what are the pros and cons of just changing the job without getting I-140 approved after more than 180 days are up.
Any suggestions are more than welcome.
maybe there are some of you out there who are actually in the same situation...
