I have seen a few of links in this website for AC21 and issues concerned with portability. There are quite a few messages of moving to a different firm, loss of job etc., but all under the basic assumption that one takes a "similar role".
Is is possible to make a lateral move within the same organization (employer being the sponsor) to take up a different position?
The new position would NOT be the same defined in the original application. I probably cannot expect the company to carry out "fancy" moves since they are conservative & cautious (nothing aganist such an approach). Is there any path for such a situation which would permit me to make this move?
Background Information : I am not in IT; I-140 has been approved (Dec. 02);
