Folks, please recommend a good lawyer able to handle AC21 for me, Seattle, WA area.

It seems my current attorney (whom I have been paying to handle my case) has no experience at all on AC21.

Why do you need an attorney for that ?

Firstly, I wud say that you dont need to send any AC21 letter. Wait if USCIS send RFE, then you may mention AC21 in your response. Why pay attorney $$$ for nothing.

Secondly, If you still want to send a letter, you can find it in one of the AC21 threads here.

Believe me, I already paid a lawyer for this consultation before and I can't agree more with you. It seems I knew more about AC21 than the lawyer himself.

Let's see the strategy:
I get EVL ready just in case from potential new employer.
Then in case I ever get an RFE, I could hire an attorney them ?

Obviously I would need to send form G-28 immediately so that my existing company's attorney would be out of the picture. What steps do I need to take when sending G-28 to inform a new lawyer ?

G-28 may also be used to REMOVE any attorney ... You may choose to get all correspondense sent to you if you mention it in G28 - Try not to send USCIS something they did not ask you to send them.

It will be only 1 mail. Evl+paystubs+G28+Cover letter explaining your elegibility for AC21 and AC21 Law quotation. Get a sample letter from this forum. AND THATS IT.

USCIS sent RFE to me .. Not to the Lawyer. I sent USCIS the required documents and took help from that format for AC21 letter. ( Its just using "english" in a better manner)

OK, but then if you remove lawyer our idea of not informing USCIS about AC21 doesn't apply anymore ? You are saying that if you send G-28, I would need to send EVL to justify why I am removing the lawyer ?

Also, what happens when time comes to renew my EAD in December ? If I don't inform USCIS about AC21/change jobs proactively, I guess by the time I need to renew my EAD they would trigger a probable RFE ?

your ability to change/remove lawyer exists regardless of AC21. USCIS will not ask you for EVL or AC21 RFE simply because lawyer and employer are two completely seprate things.

EAD eligibility comes from the I-485 being pending. whether you have changed lawyers, or employers, is irrelevant.
