Hello, Everyone --
I met a problem which I belive many persons met before. I appreciate you for sharing your experience.
I was laid off recently(after filing I485 for 19 months) and found a potential employer. Since I don't have a EAD card, I'm expecting either a H1B transfer which is unlikely or apply a new H1B with premium process. My very first job description is quality Assurance. But actually, after a few months, I've moved to design. The potential job is design. Now, I found the following problmes:
1. WHere can I find the approved LCA job code ? It's not in the approve letter, not in the part A(offer of employment). Is applicant authorized to have these document ? If I could find the code and if the potential job match the code, I don't need to worry the following problems anymore.

2. in H1B application forms(I129) I found two lines to describe the job and two lines to describe your background. Does the job description need to match the old one at this early stage ? When immigrate officer adjudicate my case , is H1B application material in his folder?

3. the third problem might be the most difficult one. How to convience them design is Q/A or vise versa ? Since we do need much design knowledge in Q/A. Is it useful to have some Q/A and some design in the second job description ?
