AC21 Issue..

There is a thread about re-entring the US with AP, and some officers not knowing AC21.

Here is something similar...

Have any of you applied for another job with the intention to use AC21, and then found that the employer is totally ignorant about the law?

It is either H1-B or GC but don't recognise or know about AC21?

I see that some of the websites have added another option that states "legally allowed to work is US"

Please share your comments and experiences..

Maybesoon, there would be lot of companies who would be ignorant of AC21.
When they ask you do you need H1 sponsorship or do you have GC, tell them you don't need either as you have a EAD card.
There are some recruiters who understand the process.

You can try to explain to the ignorant recruiters, some will get it,
but unfortunately some won't get it.
( Robert Half International didn't get it).
I went thru this experience sometime ago.

And after you join, you have to send them a photocopy of your EAD card.
