I had a similar situation a few months back. I had contacted few lawyers and everyone discouraged me from taking up a contract job on AC-21. It depends on what is written on the Labor Cert. If the Labor Cert. does not state a consultant job, then you should not take up a contract job. The job offer must be a permanent job
offer.
Another question: If I change to a permanent job, but company is in different state, I'll work on client site which is near my home. Will this cause any trouble?
