All,

I have changed my JOB in jan 2004 after filing I 485 in Dec 2002 (>180 days). I have couple of questions on this.

I have the copies of I 140 apporoval notice and LC receipt copy.

1. Do I need to File AC21 or wait for RFE (if at all any).

2. My Job Title changed but I'm still doing similar kind of work?

3. My Salary is sligtly lower (diff of 10K) without bonus and (5K with bonus), is this cause any issue.

4. My EAD is expiring in Aug 2004, when should I apply and can I do it on my own, steps involved and documents needed.

5. My AP expired in Jan 2004, I want to file AP and I think that it can be done on our own, steps involved and documents required.

Finally

6. I do not have the copy of what is the job descriptio that was filed when "LC was approved". Is there any way to get it. My lawyer is not giving me any copies.

Is there a way to get the complete set of my filings from INS instead of the lawyer if he is not willing.

Thanks in advance.

Upto you. People like to wait till RFE arrives most of the time.

2. My Job Title changed but I'm still doing similar kind of work?

Should be okay, description is more important that title.

3. My Salary is sligtly lower (diff of 10K) without bonus and (5K with bonus), is this cause any issue.

No problem, AC21 doesn't care if salary is lower. Check the forum for a deeper explanation with links to relavent rules.

4. My EAD is expiring in Aug 2004, when should I apply and can I do it on my own, steps involved and documents needed.

Apply atleast 90 days prior to expiry of current EAD. Read the EAD FAQ under important threads, for "How To's?.

5. My AP expired in Jan 2004, I want to file AP and I think that it can be done on our own, steps involved and documents required.

Search the forum. This question is too common to answer everytime it is asked.

6. I do not have the copy of what is the job descriptio that was filed when "LC was approved". Is there any way to get it. My lawyer is not giving me any copies.

Request the information from INS under FOIA, by law you are entitled to all information that you are party off. Again search the forum for information on this act.
