AC21 attorney fee ??

Hello all,
Appreciate if someone could confirm this. Here is my case.

I-140 approved
Applied for I485 & 180 days have passed by
Received my EAD
Want to change my job in the same field using AC21.
I contacted my attorney who has been processing my GC regarding the process for changing employers who told me that their office charges $500 to handle such requests.
Reading thru the msgs. posted in this forum there was no one talking about attorney fees for going thru AC21.
Did anybody else had to pay attorney fees or can such cases be handled by yourself.

Yes I paid $500 to my attorney for AC-21. He sent me the documentation later. They really did a good job.

My attorney wants $1200. I am not agreeing to pay that. Either I will not file or file on my own.

Guys...that's a LOT of money for AC21 letter. My attorney is very good at what he does and only charged me 200 bucks for the AC21 letter which I am about to file now. If you guys want information about him, let me know......
