AC21 and Timing of I140 Approval

Hi, My I140 was just approved a month ago, and I did I140/485
concurrent filing in October 2002. My question is if it's OK to switch job now ? Somebody told me that AC21 applies only six month has been passed after I140 approval, is that right?
I thought the clock starts from concurrent date.

Please advise.
 
It's OK

you can change jobs now. AC21 applies 6 months after the I485 filing. It has nothing to do with 140 filing or approval although some lawyers advise you to wait till 140 is approved.

In your case since, 6 months have passed since 485 was filed and 140 is now approved, you can change jobs now.

It is a very unclear situation, (I guess for everyone). Well, the latest Discussion of S. Murthy does suggest that if I-140 is approved and I-485 is pending for more than 180 days, it should be OK to switch Jobs. It dpes not say 180 days from I-140 approval in particular
