AC21 and service center

Hi experts,
Here are my details first:
EB3 Sub labor (PD 3/2002) CSC

I live in NY, joined a company in CA who provided me a substitute labor. 140 got approved, 485 pending for approx 2.5 years. Six months ago I used AC21 and joined a company in NY with same/simillar job category. I have not informed USCIS about AC21 yet.

Last week, my 485 case got transfered from CSC to NSC (as part of "bi-specialization program" I guess).

Now if I inform USCIS about AC21, will they transfer my case to VSC as I live in NY and new job is in NY?
Also, if they apply this "bi-specialization program" again, my case will move from VSC to TSC?

In that case, pretty much, my case will be travelling to all 4 centers.

Should I inform USCIS about AC21 at this stage or not? I will prefer my case at VCS/TSC than at NSC.

Thanks..

neilgc,

I don't think USCIS ever transfers one's application from one center to the other....unless really needed like 'bi-specialization' to do load balancing across centers...

e.g. lot of folks move from east coast to west coast and update their address by calling VSC...their applications never get transferred from VSC to CSC!!

It's only for load balancing.....they might do it....If NSC has less I-485 applications, say 100K and CSC has 200k applications...it makes sense to do load balancing and send out 50K application from CSC to NSC...

So, the answer to your question...is no...it will not matter whether you move from one state to the other or you file AC21 conveying job change ....

Thanks banta4gc for the explanation.
