thanks. Just curious...Are you aware who has done this? I have been on my L1 for over 3 years now and my 485 is 16 months old. I have an EAD and am assuming that I will not need any h1 to change employers. Am I right?

It does not count L1 or H1. If the case is not based Labor then their might be some problem . If it Goes through Labor ,I-140 and I-485 You should be able use AC-21 as long same or similar job conditions are fulfilled. I know one person came on B1 here, after staying for four months he got an approved Labor and applied for I-485 and I-140. He switched the Jobs.
