AC21 and 485 for dependent

Hi,
I have approved 140 and crossed 180 days after applying 485. I am now planning to join another employer under AC21.

Both I and my wife have received the advance parole however the lawyer screwed up my sons 485. She sent wrong amount in the check so had to apply again. I am now told that they have to wait for the visa number until they can apply again.

My question is how it may impact my job changing under AC21 ? Can I change the job now and apply for my sons 485 after changing the job? What are my options for travelling India? Can some one please advise.

If you change jobs without filing an I-485 for your son, he will become out of status unless you also get an H-1B (or some other visa you are eligible for) for the new job, so he can get H4 status.
