AC140 Urgent please help me

Is there any successful case from mumbai like this.
140 approved for CP, chennai and actually eligible for CP, Mumbai. Infact mentioned CP, Mumbai in the petition. If I file I-824 to change consulate and send Ac-140 packet to Mumbai, would mubai accepts or not? Please help me. I am in this dilemma. Some one please help me.
 
Why was it approved for Chennai ?

I assume your permanent address or address as mentioned in apssport must come under Chennai jurisdiction. If not, or if you have adequate evidence to support that your home region should be Mumbai, you can give it a shot. Actually, even otherwise you can send a request, just be prepared to answer questions and some delays.
