AC140 at Mumbai with Chennai passport?

I have seen a posting where AC 140 was processed with Chennai passport.

I have a similar situation. My passport is from Chennai and my current H1 is from Mumbai. My 140 (EB2) was approved in March 2003 and I applied for I 485 (concurrent filing in Jan 2003). Knowing the backlog of I485, I explored AC140 option but came to know from your forums that Chennai was not entertaining this type of cases.

I am encouraged by the success of AC140 at Mumbai on an identical situation.

I need your inputs on :

- Could I still opt for AC 140 at Mumbai? What should I do?

- If applied for AC 140 at Mumbai before March end when are the likely interview dates?
