AC-21, same field, but title is changed

My case has a little complexity. My previous job is "application developer (programmer". Now in new company, though my responsiblity does not change, my title is "Assistant Vice President" - actually, it's just like "senior developer" or "tech lead". It's very common at financial companies.

Please put some comments. Thanks.
 
Yes. Citibank is a well known company that has these skewed up titles. Everyone is a AVP or a VP.
Should not matter much. Make sure you get a very detailed job description from HR or the job ad, and you should be covered.
