AC 21 question. Will case be transfered to different service center

Usually when you move out of state, your file is transferred to INS local office of that area for interview.

more clarification

Goodsaint

Does this mean that the case will be transfered only
for interview purposes.

Do you know if it goes into some sought of queue at the
new location

Thanks

from what I have heard, the file is sent to the local office, and then the local office, depending upon how busy they are, sends you interview date. Interview does not seem like a big deal, but, this whole process will delay your case by couple of months.

AVM says interview call

Mine is a similar case. RD - Sept. 24th. I got relocated from Bay Area to Denver in 1st week of April and in month of July i got laid off. I got a job in Sept. (after 2 months) in Bay Area. On Oct. 9th, AVM got updated saying that ur case has been transferred to local San Jose office for Scheduling an interview. They have also posted a number for scheduling an interview. Since i moved from CO to CA around 12th Oct. I am not sure whether i will be getting any notification in mail. I am trying to search for some more information about interview calls before calling at the number given in AVM. One of my colleagues (from the company i got laid off from) fortunately got an approval before getting laid off without any RFE. I haven't yet notified the INS about the change in employer since i was hoping my case will get approved without any RFE. Please do give me suggestion whether i should file notification before scheduling an interview? or what is the next step i should take. Also what documents are required for interview and will they reject my GC since i was not working for 2 months? Please suggest
