Hi All,
I am in a unique situation with respect to my GC process and wondering if some one can shed light on the available options and clarify AC 21 provisions. Here is my situation: My priority date is July 2004 and I had an approved I-140 in Oct 2006. In Nov 2006, my company was bought by an equity firm under assest purchase (successsor) and we had to file a new I-140 from the new company under successor-in-interest. This application was filed in July 2007 and still no news about the approval. During Aug 2007, I also filed for I-485 and received EAD/AP in late 2007.
Since NSC is so slow in processing I-140, I am kind of stuck with the current company. The question is: Can I change job now? What are the risks? and any other suggestions....your help is appreciated
