AC 21 portability

Any cases approved out there where a similar job was switched to? Really confused if it would be similar in case one stayed in the same field but went into higher studies? (e.g., joined fellowship but same field)

Plenty of AC21 cases approved lately some even without interviews just with RFES.

my friend and I were on almost exactly similar track. RD same month,same company, left the company to join different companies the same week, same attorneys, similar AC-21 letter to INS after change of job.

The difference, he got approved last week without even an RFE. I recd. an interview call for next month.
Dont try to make too much sense. I guess it totally depends on the IIO, how comfortable he feels looking at the application.
