AC 21 for Future Employment

Dear Guys:
Mine is a future employment and labor substitution. VSC

140/EAD RD 07/2003
140/EAD AD 07/2004
485 RD 07/2003
FP done in 08/2004

I am working in company A and I have applied my 140/765/485 from company B. My 140 and 765 are approved and I am waiting on my 485.

Can you please advise me if it is necessary to be on the payroll of company B before 485 approval. Please advise and thanks in advance.

Technically it's not required to be on company B's payroll before GC approval. However, for any potential RFE/interview you should be able to show offer letter from company B.
