AC-21 Acknowledgement from USCIS

All,

I have a question related to AC-21. When we submit the necessary paperwork, can we expect an acknowledgement from USCIS always?

If not, how do we know if the case has been accepted and updated?

Also is there anyway that the previous employer will be notified by USCIS about the change?

Hi Aravind,
I did send my AC-21 papers and never got any acknowledgement from USCIS. I did not see anyone who posted about the ack.. but if you see a posting please let me know.
Thanks

Thanks KK. I thought that they would send a letter acknowledging the receipt of additional information related to a pending petition as they do with an address change. I haven't noticed anyone mention about it as you have said.

Have you or anyone noticed any LUD changes atleast? Just curious to see if they at least file all paperwork related to a case together .

Ziri,

There are plenty of posts that list the documents reqd.

You would need at least the following.

1. Approved copy of labor with job description and duties (I think ETA 750 A & B).
2. copy of I485 receipt notice of primary and dependants.

3. Offer letter from new employer with same or similar position with similar job responsibilities.

4. Covering letter.

You may want to search the forum to see some better responses related to this topic.

You will not get any acknowledgement from USCIS and there will be no LUD change too.
And I do not think that USCIS will either notify the previous employer.
I sent the AC21 documentation to USCIS, and I talked to my Attorney and was told that AC21 is just informing USCIS about your employer change and there would not be any status update from USCIS on this. So you would not know whether they considered/applied AC21 letters on your case.
So send the AC21 letters to USCIS and hope for the best :)

For documents that are required to send for AC21, read the first few Sticky threads on "AC21 case approved" and go through them, you will find the list of documents and the draft documents too.
