I have changed the job after my 485 has been pending over 180 days and after 140 approval. I am in the process of informing USCIS about my change in employer. My attorney is suggesting that I send "ability to pay" letter or annual reports along with EVL and AC21 letter. However my new employer thinks it isn't necessary.

What do you guys think ?

Thanks much in anticipation.

me too i have't informed INS even though my lawyer said that. wait for rfe. They want to milk more money. Even if you inform now you will get a rfe again . so wait.

Thanks guys for your replies !

The trick situation here is I am going to submit AR11 form for change in address. This form now requires to provide your employer name. If I provide new employer name, USCIS will come to know that I have changed the job and then they will expect Ac21 documents. Any thoughts ?

Don't worry. First, they, unfortunately, don't link AR-11 to all your pending cases.
Second, you are right about "they expect". It means you don't have to.

Yeah don't worry. AR11 has nothing to do with your pending 485. But do write the new/current employer's name. Otherwise that would be lying, and lying is never good unless it involves girls or sex or both, hehe.
