Hello everybody,

I am working as a Consultant for a company X , I got my EAD and my finger prints are done with my parent Company Y. This Oct 20'2004 I finished 180 day with my parent Company Y.

I want to take up a Permanent job with the Company X where I am working as consultant right now.

Questions

1. What all steps I need to do to join the Company X
2. I am planning to go to India in Jan 2005 and my Visa is getting expired on
Dec 15 2004. I know I can use my Advance Parole , But what happens if I take the permament job with X and then I want to travel to india in Jan. Can I use the AP of my parent Company to travel to India?.

If u r over 180 days since RD of ur 485 and if 140 is also approved u can use AC-21 and start working @ clients place on EAD or do H1B transfer if u prefer to do so. Make sure client mentions same/similar job duties as in ur LC when they provide u AC-21 letter. There is no time limit for submitting AC-21 but I would suggest doing it ASAP.

U dont require to have a new AP if current is valid. you can use it to travel
anytime before it expires.

I mean, Do I have to do H1 Transfer?. why do I need to do a H1 Transfer if I am using my EAD.

What are the Pro's and Cons of doing a H1 Transfer over using EAD?

go ahead and use EAD... there is not a single case ever got rejected on 485, unless you have some security issues.... take the freedom.....
