I need your advice.
Last week, the company which is sponsoring my employment based green card (also my present employer) had a name change due to its merger with two other sister companies in the parent corporation. My interview is on 18th January.
The name change is official immediately (I mean in company announcements, press releases, public relations etc). But it is operational only from Jan 1st 2002 for accounting purposes.
I am planning to get the employment verification letter on the letter head corresponding to the company name on the latest paystub I can carry for the interview. Is it ok?
Any other pointers, I need to be concerned about?
