I read some questions from other ppl from this forum and know the immigration officer would like to see the couple's wedding pic. We had only a civil wedding and didn't take any pic when the judge married us in the courthouse. But we had a few that only have both of us outside. So I am worried if the "wedding pic" strictly means some "very formal ones"?

see attached at bottom of this reply for other info on support evidence

Formal Wedding pics are required. Formal pics are not required Uscis just wants to see photos of you together to prove the legitimacy of your relationship!
Just submit any photos you may have of you and your spouse together,
USCIS requests pictures especially wedding photos as evidence that you are a legit couple. there are other forms of support evidence however Photos togther will support a Bona Fida marriage!
A twitterpated :p couple in Love or married couple will have photos taken together at some point in their dating, engagement and in their marraige. If you don't have wedding pictures ; gather any other photos of you together also include ones that include your Family with you and spouse, as it shows close relationship.

Just take pictures of you together not only of the wedding, be advice that the officer may or may not request to see them.

Good luck,

If I were a USCIS dude/dudette a huge red flag would go up if a married couple told me they have no wedding pics. Hell even the drive-through wedding in Las Vegas gives you a complimentary Polaroid.

I have been to many a wedding in my life. Some big, some small, religious and civil and I can't ever recall the absence of a photograoher, even if it was crazy Uncle Joey with his camera from 1963.

Just sayin...
