About V visa

Hi,
I applied my I-485 and I am still single. I was wondering just in case if my case gets approved before I get married, are there any laws which could help me get my wife on a different status after I become a green card holder. I heard from some of my friends that a new V-visa is being issued for spouses in this kind of situations. I need some more info in this regard.

nope, V Visa is one time deal it is only for people who have waited for 3 years and applied before Jan 1998, but Iam w=exactly what date, but there are lot of new legislations for that.
