My OPT has expired and I've stayed on my grace period for about a month now. I decided to go back to a community college but it seems that I won't be able to get my new I-20 on time. I'm afraid I have to apply for f-1 reinstatement. The problem is I've worked illegally for 3 months during the summer, but since then I've gone out of US and re-enter with new I-20 ( I transferred from community college to University). Will this make me disqualified for reinstatement? I am thinking of going to Kaplan first until my new I-20 arrive but it will be strange if I took GMAT prep on kaplan but then I transfer to a community college. Any help will be appreciated. Thank You.
