Hello,
I am dv 2009 winner. my cn is eu21xxx. I wanted to ask you a question. I have ~12k USD in my bank account. But next week i will have to spend about 6k usd. So i will have after that only about 6k. As I know I need to have ~10k. And until the interview I will probably have less.
What do you think about my idea: I will take information from bank about my account now (showing that i have 12k USD) and will show this info in my interview?
How old information about my money could be?

You need to show the last recent 3 months of your bank statements or show an official letter from the bank that tells your current savings/checking in the bank account.

For the officer the most current amount is relevant... and he might check the older statements to make sure that there is no big amount that was just transferred there simply for the interview... Whether you had more money half a year before the interview doesn't interest the officer since you don't have that money anymore. Your case number is rather on the high side for Europe so you probably won't have the interview till next spring. So no, you cannot use the bank statement from this month at the time of the interview.
