About the Medical Exam ????????????

Question : Why are the I-693 forms the doctor has to give us in a sealed enveloppe ?? Can we know the results ? I had the TB Test positive, had to do an x-ray and no word about these results.

Doctor didn't give you a copy? He did to my husband. Are you an asian? Most of the asians gets positive in TB Test but nothing to worry.
INS wants that envelop sealed.

Contact the doctor's office. My understanding is that they're required to keep a copy of the exam on file.
 
You are supposed to get a copy of the exam and yes the Doctors office is required to keep a copy on file.
 
All, please advise. I am the applicant for I-485 and my question is: Do I have to get a Medical Exam (I-693) done only for myself or is it required for both myself and my spouse??? Please advise. Thank you

Only the I-485 applicants have to have medical done.
Is your I-485 family based? If your spouse already GC or USC, then it’s only you.
