St. Louis processes application fees.

The St. Louis office (actually, a bank) processes application fees only. There is no review. Any review, if required, will be performed by NVC (New Hampshire). Currently, St. Louis office is sending processed applications via overnight delivery (FedEx) to NVC-NH. It takes about 2-4 weeks for St. Louis office to process application fees.

St. Louis processing time

The official line might be 2-4 weeks at St. Louis, but mine was MUCH shorter. St. Louis received the packet on January 7th and it was in New Hampshire on the 9th. 2 days!!!!

Hi Enduring

Hi Enduring, if I hand fill the ds 230 part 1 will there be any problem. Your input is highly appreciated.

luit2001, I don\'t think you have anything other than DS230 part1 & fees of 260$

Anyone correct me if i am wrong.

LUIT2001 & NIRUS

When NVC sends you a "packet 3", they will specify exactly what documents are needed, and in what format (originals vs copies). Different people may receive different instructions from NVC. For example,

- some people were required to submit originals (or certified copies) of bc, mc, etc., but others only needed to submit DS230s with fees.

- some people were not required to submit OF-169

In order to avoid losing any processing time, it is advised that you follow NVC\'s instructions in Packet 3. INS and NVC are very different when it comes to handling an RFE. Unlike INS, NVC handles RFE mail with regular mail. If you get an RFE, you lose your position in the queue, as if the previous application review never happened.

I don\'t think anyone who got their Pkt-3 posted saying they submitted original or copies of bc,mc e

Correct me if i am wrong!

NIRUS:

Yes, some of us were required to submit originals (or certified copies) of all the documents (bc, mc, pcc, etc.). Like I said, instructions are different for different people and depend on several factors, including, but not limited to:

- the choice of consulate for CP
- nationality of the applicant
- previous visa statuses
- previous stays in other countries
