About Second FP

My finger print will expire for two months soon. I have been frustrated for no second FP notice.
I am afraid to contact senator or congressman on it since Damn BCIS haven't changed their processing time in four months. They haven't reach my RD yet. Out of frustration, I just called BCIS now though I know there is no use. But I feel that at least it is a phone call. What harm it can cause! It turned out useless, useless, useless!
The agent even can't get our address information! Don't mention the second FP. Things become worse and worse. We have to united to act.

I am April 2002 RD. But I did early 1st FP, which expired 1 1/2 months before? Why I am not getting 2nd FP

If at the time of expiry, if the case is with an officer, FP2 wouldn't be generated automatically....The officer, at his pace would pick up the case to review at later date, and if he finds that FP is expired, would issue FP2 notice

If at the time of expiry, if the case is not assigned with an officer, FP2 wud be automatically generated [1-2 months from FP1 expiry] and later the case is assigned to officer, etc...

This is just my observation based on people's positings etc...!

Is it time??

I would be completing my 20 mos on Oct 15th and my FP1 expired on Aug 30th. Still no word from BCIS for me and my wife. Though my online/AVM changed on 08-04 to RFE issued, we didn't receive any notice til date. However on 08-18 my online/AVM again changed to RFE response received when we didn't even receive the notice in the first place and hence didn't respond to anything. Sounds like a glitch on their system. It still says RFE response received on 08-18. I spoke to Tier 2 on 08-27 and still waiting for response letter. Is it a good idea to contact senator/congressman etc and move to next level. If so when should I start the process? I am in NJ. This is frustrating...Please let me know.

What kind of situation we are in?

Do we have to worry about 485 approval OR worry about not get 2nd FP, 3rd EAD approval... I don't ........

I sincerely hope your theory is right. We just don't have ways to prove it.

I don't give a damn about FP if it has nothing to do with 485 approve. It is just that we rarely see a case got approved with a expired FP. We can't contact congressman for that since BCIS don't move the processing date. That is why I am give a damn about processing date. Thanks for the response.
