I have been on H1B for the past one year.
My employer is in New Jersey.
I was initially working in New Jersey, but a few months back, I moved to
a different state, MD.
I continue to work for my employer in New Jersey. However I work remotely, from my home in MD.
My LCA has been issued from New Jersey
My employer has been regularly paying me the salary mentioned in LCA.
I have pay stubs, for all my months of employment.
However, since I work from home, my pay stubs have been issued to my MD address.
My question are:
1. Is it okay to work from a different state when your employer is in another state?
2. Is an LCA issued from NJ valid for me?
I would really be greatful for your advice about this situation.
