In "CSC Guidelines" pdf document http://www.immigration.com/newsletter1/cscguideline040703.pdf, there are instructions on how to contact CSC by fax, asking about one's pending case.
The process requires you to send a fax inquiry to division 1, then wait for 15 business days and then if you didn't get an answer you can send a fax or e-mail to division 12. That's called a "follow-up" inquiry.
I have sent an inquiry regarding my wife's Ap and 15 business days are soon over, no answer yet.
Question #1:
Does this work? Has anyone sent an inquiry to Division 1 then received no answer, sent an inquiry to Division 12 then?

This is a very unclear statement. What is the "most current processing report" mentioned here? JIT is the only processing report that I know about. The JIT says APs are on March 21st. My AP ND is March 17th. The above quote does not mention notice date."Inquiries and status checks should be initiated only after the Processing Time (JIT) Report (published bimonthly) date has elapsed for more than 30 days beyond the most current processing report".
