About Immigration Attorney in New York

Hi guys,
Does everyone here believe that Immigration Attorney can help the case? I had a bad experience with my attorney while filing my application. My wife is USC.

My I485 is in New York Office (at least I think so):
RD: 02/21/2004
ND: 03/05/2004
Last EAD: 07/28/2004

My case is more than 2 yrs now and I don't want to use my old attorney now. Please recommend your attorney if you think it is good.

Is there anyone here also being waiting more than 2 yrs in new york office? Pls share your experience or feeling. Thanks.
