About I-485 inquiries

Anyone has any experience doing I-485 inquiries with US Congressmen ?
If the NSC I-485 processing times = June 2005 and it turns out that the I-485 cut-off dates move beyound our respective PD, upon submitting an inquiry how long the USCIS can answer such request and process such I-485 application ?


My PD is April 2002, EB3 World.

I don't know about response time to congressional inquiries but through normal customer service channels, the upper limit is 60 days. I got my response in roughly that much time in Jan-> inquiry mid-october '05, response Jan '06.
