? about GC

Hi,
My RD for 485 is Dec 31,2001. my wife wants to go to India with our baby for 4-5 months. Planning to go in July end.

My question is : Can she go to India even if our GC is not approved by that time (v have AP, EAD).
What will happen if our GC gets approved and she is in India ? can she come after 4 months and get her passport stamped ??

You can be India and still your GC can be approved. You can get your stamping after she comes back . See the following link :

1)Well I guess you/she get your GC approved before her trip - Julyend
2) As she has AP, she can still go july end[though GC isn't approved by then] and can re-enter using AP.
PS: Not sure on the timelimit on Approval-Stamping though..!!
