About EB3 Retrogression and a surprise

I just want to share with you a little situation I had yesterday and today.
We all know about EB3 Retrogression and that cases in that category will not have any progress.

My I140 was denied and sucessfully appealed mid last year. My I485 was reopend but my wife's did not, so she had to re file again!!!

I happened yesterday night that I received 5 emails from BCIS saying that my wifes case was reopened in BCIS motion and that will take 500 - 650 days blah blah blah..... Today I went again to check the status on the BCIS website and her LUD changed again!

We both are EB3. I honestly do not have any hope of some miracle happening anytime soon and see our cases approved until after October, but it was a surprise see this.
 
my 2 cents..

Retrogression means, the case will be processed but will not be approved unless PD is current or earlier..

between now till oct 1st, people will be getting FPs and RFE..

Good luck to you..if it is approved before Oct 1st that is your luck and miracle.. otherwise I think in Oct you will have some update on your case
 
no wonder !

Visa Number Un-availability doesn't mean that they will not work on EB3 cases .. they will work as usual but they cannot approve as visa numbers are not available. We may see lots of approvals on the day when visa numbers available. No wonder eventhough some cases gets rfe's meanwhile. Thanks
