About EAD and AP LUDs

Me and my wife's 485 is pending.
Both of our EAD have been approved as of 6/26.
There is no approval of our AP's yet, but only one of the AP's out of the two have a constant LUD update since 6/27.
Does anyone know if EAD and AP should be approved at the same time and/or if the AP's are totally disconnected from the EAD and with each other.

I also experienced at least 3 constant LUD change before AP got approved. My wife's AP got approved without that and it was a week before my approval.
