About AOS....Need to Know..

I got my 2nd letter from KCC 2 days ago which states my interview date next month april 1st week. i need to know few things about AOS. I have a family friend who is permanent resident of USA, he can send me AOS but i didn't stated his name anywhere in the form that was posted by me to KCC in reply to their 1st Notification.

Now my qsn is that Is it valid to collect the AOS from the person whose name
is not stated in my previous form?
2nd qsn is that if i manage 2 AOS form 2 separate relative /friend is that a benefit for me in the interview?

pls.. any one share your experience/knowledge.

Hi !Towhid,

AOS means “ADJUSTMENT OF STATUS”. It is a process for the people who are living in the usa and wants to adjust their status from nonimmigrant to immigrant. You don’t need to think about it. I think you want to talk about affidavit of support (I-134)…right?
.. one I-134 is enough for one person.

I Didn't Got Any Affidavid Of Support Yet. Is There Any Rigid Rule That The Person's Name Which I Have Stated In My 1st Reply To Kcc Need To Issue Me Affidavid Of Support Or I Can Manage It From Any One Else..?

Hi Tawhid,

No, there is no law that you have to collect it from any specific person. You can collect Affidavit of Support (I-134) from any one from usa. But, he must be a citizen or permanent resident of usa and earn enough money to support you.
