Abandoning I140/485- Implications

Dear All, I've been in the US for almost a decade and applied for my GC through EB1 late last year (in addition to an EB3 4 years ago). However, I'm evaluating a great job opportunity in India, my home country. There are two alternatives that I can think of for my pending EB1:

1. If I leave my current job and abandon 140/485 right now, will I have any difficulty obtaining a US visa for business travel in the future?

2. If I continue with 140/485 but if it gets rejected (since it's at NSC), will I have any issue as well regarding the situation described in # 1 above?

Given where I am right now life/career wise, there is hardly any significant/compelling benefit of staying back in the US for me. However, I will certainly need to come back on short business trips in the future and so just want to know what my options are.

Thanks for your help.
